Describe yourself in 3 words: Selfless, adventurous, and compassionate 

How would your family and friends describe you? A person that can never relax, always on the go with a huge heart!

How would your students describe you? Calming yet energetic all in one!

How do you want your students to feel after your classes? I want them to feel relaxed but still feel that they have worked up a sweat

How did you become an instructor? I got my certification in India!

What's your favorite food? I love all food! But I love cheese.

What's your #1 favorite song of all time? Give me one reason, Tracy Chapman

If you weren't a teacher, what would be your dream job? I would love to be a therapist or nutritionist of some sort, I want to be able to help people

What's your guilty pleasure? Going to a good restaurants with friends eating yummy food with a nice glass of wine! 

What do you miss most about being a kid? Not having a care in the world, except spilling my sippy cup.

What’s the best meal you’ve ever had? That’s a tough one! Pizza is always easy ☺

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? Not sure. Probably just being a typical teenager.

What’s your favorite asana and why? Pigeon, I feel like my hips completely open up as my body melts into the earth.

Describe your teaching style: calming and slow with a lot of core to help tone the body and the mind

Tell us about your first yoga class (or a memorable experience from your early yoga days): My first yoga class was something I never really expected. I always heard of yoga as slow, calming and not much of a work out. When I went to my first real yoga class 4 years ago, boy did I fall in love. It was gentle at first and then worked me to the core! I remember sweating and feeling so amazing after the class. I instantly thought - this will be the first of many. I was not as experienced as others in the class and  that made me want to strive to only practice more and more. The experience you feel after yoga is something that you cannot compare to. Feeling energized, calm, relaxed, and worked out all in one. The best feeling in the world!
